Top KPOP MVs In No Particular Order

Hi, I’m back from the dead for a bit to share my favorite KPOP music videos. Let’s get to it:

  1. Peek A Boo by Red Velvet: Glamorous, witchy Red Velvet at their peak. I love the styling and I love the concept. If I were a pizza girl, I would simply drop by the creepy house with the five beautiful occupants and not let myself be killed. RIP to all the pizza boys but I’m different.
  2. Lionheart by SNSD: The serial-dater cheating lion man thing was hilarious and I love that each of the SNSD members had their own personalities. I also love love love the retro aesthetic they had.
  3. Palette by IU: It’s a simple music video but it’s really well done. They have the English translation of the lyrics also and I have to say G-Dragon’s rap made me feel emotional. Actually, the whole song did. Props to IU.
  4. Russian Roulette by Red Velvet: I love RV’s murderess concepts so much. This one is like they’re a bunch of girls at some posh boarding school trying to kill each other off but everything is super pastel and girly? That is my style yes please more please thank you.
  5. What Is Love? by Twice: This music video never gets old and it’s such a treat for people who like movies. It’s also hilarious to see the pretty Twice members play-act the male parts with each other.
  6. Married to The Music by SHINee: Okay so SHINee rolls up to a party and starts like, getting killed off after they drink this pearl aqua punch thing. And at the end it’s revealed that the mysterious “bride” was collecting the best body parts of each SHINee member to build the perfect Frankenstein-esque groom? So she takes Key’s head, Jonghyun’s mouth, Onew’s nose, Taemin’s eyes, and Minho’s body (because of course) to build her dream man. Like, go get it sis.
  7. Power by EXO: EXO has great music videos and many people will disagree that Power is a good one. But it’s so cheery and feel good and just space-time shenanigans against a giant evil robot. Plus we see how they acquire their alien superpowers. To be honest, I’m still not completely sure how the alien exoplanet thing is working for EXO but who cares?
